Rather than purchasing a range another option is to divide your oven from your cooktop. Place your cooktop over drawers along a wall or island. Your hood can still be a statement piece but you have more options to fill up the space below it. The area that would typically be where the oven is located has storage for pots, pans or dishes. Add to that some spice racks on either side and you have a fully functional space! Place your oven elsewhere or if you have enough space you could add in double wall ovens. Right near your warming drawer!
Placing your cooktop over drawers can fit in with any style, modern, contemporary, traditional, etc. Your cabinetry will have a more streamlined look that is not broken up by a range. You can get a bit more creative in your layout with this type of option. Consult your designer if you are interested in separating your cooktop from your oven and installing drawers underneath.
